Websites are a Big Waste of Time and Money!

How long have you had your website? Has it brought you any business? Do you know if anyone has visited your site? Starting to wonder why you even have one?

If you have no way of tracking whether anyone has been to your website, it is a big waste of time and money. Sure your website is there to inform your clients and prospects, but it can do so much more!

The single most important thing you can do to your website is completely FREE!

Google Analytics is a free service offered by Google that allows you to track who has visited your site, the city and country they are from, which websites or keywords led them to you, plus a whole lot more. That is pretty powerful information!

Why? Because if you know what keyword searches your prospects are using to find you, or which websites or advertising vehicle that linked them to you, then you can allocate your advertising dollars accordingly. You can tweak your website keywords to make your site more "search engine friendly".

You will be able to see if your newsletter is bringing people to your site. Are people clicking on the link to the full article as you just did? In a day I will be able to find out how popular this article was. How many people that received my newsletter read this article? Pretty cool huh! But that’s not all.

With Google Analytics you can even get email reports sent to you when there are significant changes in data patterns. You can set up customized reports to be sent to notify you when specific thresholds are met.

Find out whether your site usage outperforms or underperforms those of your industry.

Imagine finding out when prospects are typing in a product or service you carry they are misspelling the word in the Google search engine. Knowing that information you can then add the misspelled spelling of the word into the keywords of your website.
